The UK Border Agency has today confirmed that it has amended its sponsor guidance for Tiers 2, 4 and 5. Changes of particular relevance to employers include:
- Amendment to Appendix A of the guidance to include an addition to the list of supporting documents that are acceptable for the purposes of proving the necessary link between Intra Company Transfers.
- Clarification on who can fill the roles of "authorising officer", "key contact", "level 1 user" and "level 2 user" where the sponsor has contracted its entire human resource function out to a third party. Most notably, legal representatives can now be the "key contact"
